Crazy weather we have had here in SA today, with wild storms lashing most of the state. The sleepy little town of Booborowie copped a deluge, and there was water literally everywhere. I can admit as a farmer, we do love the rain, but Mother Nature has given more than her fair share of late, so it can stop now.

Spectacular light show across the state last night! With 360 degree views of lightning, I honestly didn't know where to look!

A quick trip to my camera bag and to my dismay my preferred lens along with the tripod were nowhere to be found (they are in my 'other' camera bag), so had to pull out the kit lens and hope for the best.... Mother Nature certainly didn't disappoint!

Only downside was we were out of power for 12+ hours... definitely worth it😉

I have been having a bit of a break from photography to focus on other things, but last night I dusted the old camera off and headed out to see if I could capture the magnificent light show Mother Nature was delivering ..... As always she didn't disappoint!
