For anyone interested, these photos were taken at Moss Well at Spicer's Gap. Easy to get to, and if you're patient, you just need to sit and wait for the birds to come in for water at the open well.

Every time I go out looking for birds, I secretly wish for a bird to land or sit out in the open and also, to sit still long enough for me to capture the moment.. The photography Gods must have been looking down on me favourably on Saturday. This Eastern Yellow Robin, was very obliging, and sat on a burnout stump not 2m in front of me. Many thanks to John for taking me along to Spicer's Gap.
