The soft movement of the waterfall contrasts with the sweeping arcs of stars overhead — captured in a long exposure as the Earth turns beneath the night sky. ✨

Perched above one of the most spectacular stretches of the NSW Mid North Coast 🌊🚁is the iconic Smoky Cape Lighthouse—where rugged cliffs, pristine beaches and crystal clear ocean come together in an unforgettable view.

A few interesting facts about Smoky Cape Lighthouse:
📍 Built in 1891, it has guided ships along this rugged coastline for well over 130 years.
🏛️ It was designed by renowned Colonial Architect James Barnet and is one of the last major lighthouses he designed.
🌏 Standing 128 metres above sea level, it is the highest lighthouse in New South Wales.
🐋 During the whale migration season, Smoky Cape is one of the best vantage points on the coast to spot humpback whales passing by.

Whether you've visited before or it's still on your bucket list, it's easy to see why Smoky Cape is one of the gems of the Macleay Valley.

I never get tired of calling this place home.

Seeing Sapphire Beach from above at sunset is a reminder of just how lucky we are to have the Coffs Coast right on our doorstep. Every time I fly, I find something new to appreciate.

The night sky never stands still... it just takes a long exposure to reveal it. ✨🌌

Captured at Bucca Valley Blueberry Farm, west of Coffs Harbour.It shows the circular star trails spinning around the South Celestial Pole, with a beautiful old dead tree standing silently beneath the stars. While the Earth rotates, the stars appear to circle the southern sky, creating these mesmerising patterns.

It's a reminder that even the oldest, weathered trees have a story to tell—standing watch through countless nights under an ever-turning sky.

Topdowns are my favourite shots with my drone. From above, Hills Beach reveals a side of the coastline that's easy to miss from the ground. The dark waters of the creek carve their way through golden sand before meeting the beach, while waves make delicate patterns along the shore.

The Coffs Coast never stops surprising me.
