We experienced the essence of autumn in the Blue Mountains, Australia, with exceptional accommodation and a delectable breakfast at Closeburn House Boutique Guesthouse, Mount Victoria. Experienced the finest fish and chips at Kettle Fish Katoomba, and marvelled at the stunning gardens of Mayfield Garden, Oberon. The Victoria and Albert Guesthouse offered an outstanding ambience and dinner. Whilst revelling in the breathtaking mountains, crisp autumn weather, and serene atmosphere of the Blue Mountains. Last night, I made the decision to take the train and visit St Mary’s Cathedral to light candles in remembrance of those we have lost, a tradition that I have cherished for as long as I can remember. I was deeply moved and impressed to witness the profound sense of love, joy, unity, and respect exhibited by the remarkable community, comprising individuals from diverse backgrounds, which embodies the Australia that I am proud to call home. The act of lighting candles in prayer instilled hope within me, as it did in every soul present. It is indeed possible for us to coexist in a world characterized by respectful harmony, irrespective of cultural and religious differences. Sydney, you have made me proud; I felt completely safe and secure, and the true essence of Christmas was palpable last night.
