From bonding over our mutual love of puppies called Bella to an epic engagement shoot around the powerhouse museum, this was another wedding we had been looking forward to for a long time!

With family gathering from across the globe and hosted by the stunning Sanctuary Cove Weddings + Events this whole day was centred around family, friends and so much laughter!

With the weather on point we were able to take full advantage of the beautiful hotel grounds which did include at one point in time Alex taking off his shoes and socks to climb into the fountain!

Little Bella even made an appearance walking proudly down the aisle to deliver the rings to Mum and Dad who were able to sneak in a couple of puppy hugs in the middle of the ceremony!

Puppies, love, friends, fun and laughter everything you need for a perfect wedding day! Congratulations again Tricia and Victor!

Having journeyed with Eliza and Leith since first meeting them for their engagement shoot over a year ago this wedding was one which we had planned out down to the finest detail. This was to ensure we took full advantage of not only the gorgeous custom hand made dress and veil courtesy of Eliza’s Mother -in-law but the gorgeous architecture of the historical customs house. At one point we even had two drones in the air for reception entry and took full advantage of the stunning story bridge views by shooting some long exposures by the river for some levelled up family photos!

The day went by so quickly but with nearly a 1TB of photos and video we definitely got all the shots we wanted!

Thank you Eliza and Leith for being so patient with all our shot suggestions and for being so great to work with! First anniversary shoot here we come 😜😘

Still catching up on posting all our recent weddings and today it was time to showcase Evelyn and Jim’s gorgeous day!

This one was a little different to our normal weddings in the fact that we got to shoot some gorgeous street photography before the ceremony in true run and gun editorial style while being able to curate some stunning posed shots at Brisbane’s hidden gem of a venue The Little Laneway (more photos of that to come shortly). After the ceremony and an epic first dance, guests along with the bride and groom (and Alex) literally caught a Brisbane City Bus to Westend where the party kicked on!

With a dress sourced from Depop (think gorgeous vintage) and all the personal touches that meant the world to them this wedding was so full of flavour and heart and the perfect mix of analog and digital.

Can’t wait to share more of their beautiful gallery and the diverse shots we were able to capture throughout the day!

If you are looking for possibly one of THE best sunset venues in the SE Queensland area then Up & Away Braeside Mountain needs to be on your radar!

Chantel and Phillip’s wedding was possibly one of the most picturesque weddings, thanks in part to the stunning venue with an outlook that stretched across the granite belt!

Tucked up in the mountains halfway between Warwick and Stanthorpe, this venue has everything you could possibly want; from a gorgeous onsite residence for getting ready, to the option of tying the knot overlooking one of the most epic views, plus you’re in wine country so there’s that 🤣😜🙌.

A simply beautiful day hallmarked by the love and laughter of family and friends. Congratulations guys, this was definitely worth the wait!

Wow that was a busy couple of weeks! Now with a good couple of days off in front of us, it’s time to catch up on posting all these beautiful weddings!

First cab off the rank was the beautiful Leilani and her Groom Reece.

These guys tied the knot in their local Kingdom Hall and following we were off to the stunning Sirromet Winery for some epic bridal photos followed by a yummy potluck dinner at the gorgeous Mt Cotton Hall!

As fellow crossfit enthusiasts these two regularly train along side Alex at Crossfit IB- Iron Barbell so it was an absolute ball being able to be a small part of such a special day!!

For a good editorial shoot, posing is just as important as lens and camera choice. Keeping things simple with verbal directions while understanding how to make each subject look their best, does take practice and thankfully that’s something Alex and I have had buckets of!

When Crystal reached out with this concept for her engagement shoot, we were all over it! A mix of digital, analog and an art lens gave us the scope to shoot to the midday conditions and the results were 🔥🔥.

Congratulations Crystal and Josh we can’t wait to shoot your wedding in a couple of months!

Not going to lie but we are neck deep in busy wedding season and with editing etc life has been a bit crazy however we will always make time for our previous couples who want a maternity or family shoot as part of their journey with us. Just love seeing where life has led them and being able to continue to capture those precious memories!

Can’t wait to see Ashlee and Toms beautiful baby which is due earthside in just over a month!! Ashlee is a stunning Mumma to Be and including their fur baby Dipper… well that just levels everything up 🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️

Our beautiful couple Bethanie and Issac tied the knot a couple of months ago with their ceremony at a beautiful Walkabout Creek | WEDDINGS and reception at Cloudland. Unfortunately due to some persistent rain we could take full advantage of the beautiful Walkabout Creek property so we brought them back for a reshoot!

Having the time to take full@advantage of the stunning photo ops we knew we wanted to add in a reflection photo but probably would have thought twice if we had known about the catfish in advance 🤣🤣🤣 All tows were safe and there were no fishy encounters just some gorgeous photos!

Bethanie’s one of a kind wedding dress was designed and created by the talented Becky from A BrideToBe.DareToBeDifferent and we just wanted to thank the amazing team at Walkabout Creek | WEDDINGS who always go above and beyond for all their couples! They have their next open day coming up on the 23rd of Aug so stalk their socials for all the info 😀🙌🙌
