These guys…. a beautiful couple that tonis felt more like friends than clients! Having met them both when we shot their engagement photos and witnessing first hand Clints humour, we knew that this day was going to be a cracker!

The threat of incoming rain definitely kept us on our toes but in the end… golden hour reigned king as it almost always does at the stunning Albert River Wines

By the end of the night we were low key sad to see it all ending as the whole day had been so much fun! Congratulations Tracie and Clint…. married life looks oh so good on you both!

Not me over in the corner loosing my mind over this drone shot lol. Dodged the fairy lights, escaped the rain and got some epic dance floor photos and video that we don’t normally do! Huge thanks to Jayden from for lot only providing the most epic soundtrack but helping coordinate this shot! Also shout out to for the awesome outside dance floor set up!

Ok 2026/2027 brides buckle up! I know many of you have chosen dates around weather patterns from previous years and an even greater number of you had booked venues that are absolutely stunning as outdoor wedding venues.

The latest long term weather advice of an El Niño watch is something important to note. We’ve shot through similar weather patterns in previous years and the amount of unexpected rain we had in weddings was a challenge.

Not that this is something to freak out about but rather use it as an opportunity to make sure you love your wet weather option as much as your dry weather option. You may never have to use your plan b but if you do at least you’ll know that you’ll still love your photos!

This reel sums up for us the true art of being a wedding photographer and the benefit of choosing a team who has the experience to shoot through any situation and still nail the shot!

While we were in the middle of shooting our beautiful couple what you don’t see is that I had put my camera down in the ground temporarily to reposition and subsequently lost it in the grass! Low key freaking out, I kept shooting, Alex single handedly nailed all the veil shots perfectly, one handed while I combed through the grass looking for my camera.

I knew I had the shots I wanted was just more concerned about the fact it was getting dark quickly and I didn’t want to loose all my b roll footage. We finished up the bridal session super happy while Alex caught a lift back with the couple in their GT I finally found my camera exactly where I left it! 🤣🤣🤣🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Ash and Tom were so patient with all the kissing Alex made them do and to be fair it was a lot 🤣🤣🤣🤣 but he is anything if not a perfectionist when it comes to his shots!
