Roasted chestnuts in Darwin... now that’s an Australian Christmas mood! 🌰☀️🎄

Picked these up from a fantastic local grocer, and they’re absolutely delicious. One of the best parts of living in Australia is having access to amazing treats that make everyday moments feel special. A simple snack, a beautiful day, and a grateful heart. Sometimes the best moments are the ones that remind us how rich life already is.

The countdown to Christmas is well and truly on, and I’m here for all the festive flavours and traditions ahead!

From the Kimberley outback to the speedway... what a change of scenery! It was my first time at a wingless sprint car race and, like most first-time experiences, I had absolutely no idea what to expect. At one point, I found myself wondering, what on earth am I doing here? 🙄 Then I watched the incredibly fast Kyle Mock take to the track and wow the crowd. The speed was impressive!!! 💨 But what really stood out was the skill, intelligence, precision and control required behind the wheel. It was incredible to watch! Oh, and despite the clouds of dust and mud 🛘 flying everywhere, covering me, my drink and even my yiros, I loved every minute of it! 😳😵‍💫😝 Safe to say, I'm officially a new fan!!!! 🏁🏎️💨What's something you've tried for the first time that completely surprised you and turned you into an instant fan? If you don’t follow KYLE MOCK yet, you should!!! 🎉🎉🎉

🙃 Holes in your tent: What's your go-to fix? When your tent is still good but the netting wants to die 🙄 Here we were desperately using clear nail polish and making papier mǎché out of tissues just to keep any bugs out for the night! 😝 Share your most unique or practical fixes please!

Meet the colourful Christmas tree worms living safely inside Porites corals! I was so excited to see them! Then to the right, striking Golden and Oriental Sweetlips patrol the reef and take shelter underneath a ledge nearby. 🐠 This is one of the advantages of camping near the coast! Make this a part of your bucket list!!!
