There’s something pretty special about watching the Territory change with the seasons.
The dry grass, the heat, the storms rolling in, the skies lighting up at sunset… everything constantly shifting, growing and becoming something new.
And maybe that’s why I love photographing maternity portraits so much.
Because pregnancy is its own kind of changing season.
Your body is changing. Your life is changing. You’re growing a tiny human, while somewhere along the way, you’re growing into a version of yourself you’ve never met before.
Some days you feel strong. Some days you don’t recognise yourself at all. And somehow, both can be true.
But then the sun drops, the sky catches fire, you look down at that bump and realise… this is it.
You’re growing a whole new life.
And you’re growing too. 🤍
