Over the last month, this question keeps playing in my head.
As soon as I wake up.
When I start doubting myself.
When things get hard.
“Have you done everything you can do in this lifetime?”
At the start of the year, a close friend asked me why I’m doing all of this.
It caught me by surprise. I told him life was short, shared a personal story with him, and that was pretty much my answer.
But I’ve thought about that conversation a lot since.
If he asked me again today, my answer would be another question:
“Have you done everything you can do in this lifetime?”
Truth is, I probably won’t get to do everything.
But I know I’m going to try.
And right now, anything standing in my way is just an obstacle, not a reason to stop.
I want to create. I want to give back. I want to tell stories. I want to make a difference. And when my time eventually comes, I want to know I gave this life everything I had.
