Some dogs came here. These ones started here.
Spring, and the Artist's Call turns homeward. For September, Project Dogalogue is seeking the dogs this country made its own:
THE AUSTRALIAN KELPIE, bred for work and built for distanceοΏ½THE AUSTRALIAN CATTLE DOG, blue and red bothοΏ½THE AUSTRALIAN SILKY TERRIER, small in size and the hardest of the three to findοΏ½THE GREAT ADAPTERS: dogs on three legs, dogs on wheels, dogs who don't see or hear the world the way most do. Any breed, any mix.
Purebred or mixed, all of them are welcome: Project Dogalogue is a record of the dogs of this country as they actually are.
Kelpie, Cattle Dog, Silky or a Great Adapter? I'd love them in Dogalogue. Every dog photographed takes their place in the collection's permanent digital archive, a lasting record of the dogs of Australia. Dogs chosen from the call also have their $98 participation fee returned in full as additional credit towards their artwork.
And the Spring Appeal is running through to the end of November: every participation fee is donated in full to a rescue connected to your dog.

Nothing Australian at your place? Register anyway: every breed and every mix is welcome in the Dogalogue, and it's the list I choose from all year round, not just the calls.
π Tasmanian dogs, get yourselves registered. I'm bringing Project Dogalogue across this spring, and who registers shapes where I set up.
βKnow a Kelpie who never switches off, a heeler shadowing someone's heels, or a dog who's worked out their own way of doing things? Tag their humans, the collection is waiting for them.
