Just a moment of peace with her latest arrival. Because when it’s the third tiny human in the house, moments without snack requests, tiny hands helping, or sibling disagreements, feels reminiscent of a time when there was just one.

A time when the house was a little quieter, a few less toys to trip over and you could sneak a nap when the baby did, or even watch the dodgy daytime movie without being interrupted with requests for Bluey or Shaun the Sheep.

Newborn sessions at home are always a favourite.

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there.

The dads that are old hands, the dads to be, the funcles, and those people thst just step in to do the dad things. Today was all about you.

Shoutout to my own dad, who appears not to have changed his parenting / grandparenting technique since 1988, or his moustache.

And it turns out I have failed to get a photo of Rossi with his four kids in a very long time. Will add that to the do list.

Considering buying shares in Panadol and Nurofen. This is a time where 4 kids is actually a lot. And my nursing skills are actually questionable at best.

After one the gloomiest, foggiest weeks of winter in the Wimmera I have ever experienced, the sun was out for the Hoppers!

It started out as a tiny gathering and very quickly grew to something much bigger. Throw in the sun making an appearance (at full volume) and it was magic winters day in the gardens for Josh and Aul.

It’s not forever. It’s barley a day sometimes.

20 mins. You, me, some pine trees and little bits of time frozen. So one day you can show them how little they were.

Or to simply scroll and look at how adorable they are once they’re in bed after giving you a hard time about wrong coloured cups, socks that feel to sloppy or maybe it’s just that you wanted to help them with a task beyond their years and their independence got in the way.
