African Freedom Day is a significant occasion celebrated across the continent and among the diaspora to honour the liberation of African countries from colonial rule. It serves as a powerful reminder of the struggles, resilience, and unity of African people in their journey toward independence and self-determination. It’s a day to reflect, celebrate culture, and continue advocating for freedom, dignity, and progress.

Garba – a stunning dance of color, culture, and celebration! It’s a joyous way to mark the beginning of Navratri and seek Mata Rani's blessings. A heartfelt thank you to the Indian Festivals Association of Tasmania (IFEST) for hosting such a vibrant event, and of course, having Dhaval Patel (DJ Dhaval) there to keep the energy alive! I was honored to capture these beautiful moments and freeze them in time through my lens!
