For me, today is a day of deep reflection.

Although I havenā€™t served, my respect for those who have, and those who continue to serve, is absolute.

This gratitude extends to the friends and colleagues in my life who actively serve or contribute to our countryā€™s safety.

It is because of their collective commitment and service that I am able to live in the peace and safety we call home.

When I saw that were one of the support acts for the BABYMETAL show in Perth last week, I knew I couldnā€™t miss it. These guys are the real deal, and seeing them master the tough opening slot for a international act was incredible.

Their sound, which is best described as a fusion of pop-punk and alternative rock, had the entire venue buzzing from early onā€¦ and you could feel the excitement building as each new song drew to a close.

If you havenā€™t checked out Magnolia Park yet, do yourself a huge favour... You wonā€™t be disappointed!

Reliving the magic of the 2013 Linkin Park tourā€¦ a massive run where Linkin Park dominated headlining shows in Sydney and Melbourne, as well as Soundwave Festival alongside Metallica, Blink-182, and The Offspring.

This tour also marked the last time the band ever graced the stage in Perth!

Bloody impressed at the images you can extract from an iPhoneā€¦

Covering shows is a part of who I am, but being a punter again for a band that soundtracked my life was the reset I didnā€™t know I needed...

This week wasnā€™t about grinding it out to find the perfect angle; it was about stepping back and being fully immersed in the moment.

Thereā€™s something beautiful about a mosh pit where everyone actually looks after each other and the LP community really is second to none.. a reminder that no matter who you are, where you are from or what you believe; music is the ultimate equaliser.

It was great to be back in the crowd, back in the noise, and feeling right at home.

For now though, itā€™s back to being in front of the pitā€¦ my body will be grateful for it!
