When Bianca first reached out about a photo shoot with Nala and Kevin, she told me something that really stuck with me:
"I don't have any photos of just me and my dogs."
As a dog trainer, Bianca spends every day with her dogs. They come to work with her, they're her constant companions, and they're such a huge part of her life. But despite all that, she realised she didn't have photos of just the three of them.
For their Pets of the Hills Calendar session, we headed to Alfred Nicholas Gardens in the Dandenong Ranges, a place that holds so much meaning for her. She grew up nearby, still visits regularly, and often walks the dogs there with family.
Nala and Kevin are both rescue dogs, and the love, time and dedication Bianca has poured into them really shines through. They were some of the most beautifully trained dogs I've ever photographed, which made for a fun and relaxed session.
Bianca's Mum also joined us, so the photography session felt less like work and more like a walk with friends through the gardens together. 💚
