Celebrating our Travelodge Aussie Spirit Olympic Squad, Georgia Hood

Surrounded by diamond sports as a child, it did not take long for Georgia to step into the world of Softball and start showing off her pure talent.

A star for Hills Heat Softball who cut her teeth in the Mt Gambier Softball League for the Warriors Softball Club, Georgia has lot to show even at her young age. Being named Rookie of the Year in 2019 and awarded MVP at the 2019 U19 Nationals

Celebrating our Travelodge Aussie Spirit Olympic Squad, Leah Parry

Out of the Fremantle Mariners in the Perth Softball Leagues, Leah first represented Western Australia in 1993, making her debut for Australia in 2003. Following this Leah was selected for several Australian teams including the 2010 World Championship

Again in 2010, Leah helped Softball WA claim its first Gilley’s shield win since 1959 and was also a part of WA’s Gilley’s Shield title winning teams in 2011 and 2013

After taking some time away from the game, Leah made a strong return in 2019 affirming her selection spot for that year’s Australia Pacific Cup
