Gosh what a gorgeous day yesterday was, so excited to share a few sneak peaks from Lauren Clementson and Doms legal ceremony in the city. Married with ring pops and a few of their closest with them. Gosh what a blast from the past the ring pops were! Yesterday was so full of genuine love, laughter and just much fun. So excited to get the 35mm film developed too! Congratulations you two!

A little surreal seeing my work appear in

I’ve always been drawn to imagery that feels emotional, cinematic and deeply personal, so creating this piece and seeing it printed like this feels really special.

These are the kinds of moments I love most. Quiet in-between glances, nostalgia, warmth, movement, and photographs that feel like the day actually was.

Mother’s Day has always felt layered to me.

It can be a day of deep joy and celebration, but also one that quietly carries grief, longing, loneliness, complicated relationships, or reminders of what’s missing.

As a mum myself, I feel so much gratitude for the privilege of motherhood, but also an awareness of how deeply emotional this day can be in so many different ways. Motherhood can be beautiful and fulfilling, but also exhausting, isolating, transformative, and all-consuming at times too.

So while today’s post celebrates the love and connection between mothers and their children, I also wanted to acknowledge the people finding today hard. Those missing their mums, missing their babies, trying to become parents, navigating loss, estrangement, or simply carrying emotions they don’t always speak about out loud.

There’s room for all of it here. The joy, the love and the ache existing side by side.

Sending love to everyone, whatever today looks like for you. 🤍
