✨ 5 YEARS OF THE LOFT STUDIO MELBOURNE ✨
Five years ago, I took a leap of faith and opened the doors to The Loft Studio Melbourne.
I remember looking at this beautiful old space and seeing so much potential. I had a vision of creating somewhere that felt different — a space where people could come together, be creative, celebrate, work, create memories and simply enjoy being there.
I honestly couldn’t have imagined just how much life would fill these four walls over the past five years. 🤍
I’ve watched photographers bring their ideas to life, businesses hold meetings and workshops, couples celebrate their weddings, families gather for baby showers and birthdays, and friends come together for special occasions.
There have been flowers, laughter, beautiful tables, champagne, celebrations, nervous brides, excited families, creative people and so many wonderful stories.
And somewhere along the way, The Loft Studio became so much more than just a studio to me.
It became a little part of so many people’s lives — and that is something I feel incredibly grateful for.
Every person who has walked through those doors has helped shape the story of this space. Some I’ve met for just a few hours, others have returned time and time again, but every booking has left a little memory behind.
Running a space like this has certainly had its challenges, but when I look back over the past five years, what I remember most is the people.
Thank you to everyone who has supported me, hired the studio, celebrated here, created here, laughed here and shared a special moment here.
Thank you for trusting me with your memories and for helping me turn my little dream into something real.
Five years on, I still walk into the studio and feel incredibly lucky to call it mine.
Here’s to everything that has been… and to all the beautiful moments still to come. 🥂

Sam is a photographer and small business trainer, supporter and girl Friday based in Hamilton, Grampians Victoria. She is passionate about supporting small businesses and giving them direction to overcome issues they may face when they don’t have an admin team on staff.
