There’s something beautifully nostalgic about this little retro cottage — its original character, humble details and lakeside setting holding the imprint of many family holidays.

Every room feels as though it has witnessed a story: laughter around the table, board games stretching into the afternoon, muddy feet, open windows and long days by the water. A home that has quietly gathered the memories of a family over time, becoming more than a place to stay, but a place to return to.

I had the pleasure of staying and capturing The Hideaway a couple of weekends ago..

This unique and luxurious ‘tiny home’ in Jervis Bay is The perfect weekend getaway if you like waking up with the sun and to the sound of the birds in the beautiful Australian bush.

This architecturally designed and newly built tiny home is the perfect place to rest, relax, unwind and get back to nature.

We had brekkie on the deck, a warm outdoor shower and a whole lot of rewinding to get done.

And once you get the itch to explore, you can duck off into town or to Callala Beach for a swim.

Its the best of both worlds. Aussie bush meets the ocean escape. I loved every minute of our stay here. Run don’t walk… this little gem gets always booked out fast. Supercalla Private Properties is where you will find her.

Introducing you to the most beautiful dining room I ever had the pleasure to photograph. With mountain views from every angle, the floor to ceiling-doors open the space up further to the peaks beyond, making you feel like you’re dining right amongst the landscape. Warm timber lines the ceiling, natural stone walls frame the space, and the soft, earthy palette lets the views do all the talking. Every detail is intentional eye-candy, yet nothing competes with that breathtaking backdrop. .
