"Some wedding days feel like pure magic..." ✨🌈
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of rolling green hills and endless ocean views, this beautiful intimate ceremony at Borradale in Stanley.
As vows were exchanged and happy tears were shed, nature put on its own spectacular show, with multiple rainbows stretching across the ocean and lighting up the coastline. It was one of those rare moments where everything felt perfectly aligned.

“I’ve never been so smashed in the face by hail whilst working!” 📷❄️😂

Daniel & Abby’s wedding at Cradle Mountain on Friday was nothing short of wild in the best way possible. The hail storm rolled in hard and fast, but not once did it dull the smiles, the laughter, or the love these two share.

Surrounded by their families, they braved freezing ice, relentless rain, and even a dusting of snow to top it all off. And honestly? It just made their day even more unforgettable.

Proof that no matter the conditions, love shows up, stands strong, and makes magic anyway. 🤍

Some love stories don’t just stay with you… they change you ❤️

David & Erina’s wedding day was something truly special. Held at her parents’ home, a place filled with years of childhood memories, laughter and love, it felt like the perfect beginning to their next chapter.

Every detail was heartfelt, but one moment completely undid me. Over the years, Erina had tucked little notes into David’s lunches… small, everyday reminders of her love. And he kept every single one, typed them all out complete with the tiny matching emojis and turned them into the most beautiful love letter for her to read on the morning of their wedding day. I'm sorry but wow!

And then… that moment after they were officially married. The way they looked at each other, held each other... it was like the world disappeared. Time stood still. In all my years behind the camera, I’ve never witnessed something quite like it.

Moments like these are why I do what I do. Not just to take photos, but to hold onto the feeling of a love like this… forever. 🤍

✨ I often find myself wondering… where are the couples whose weddings I photographed years ago?

Where life has taken you since that beautiful day.

Photography has never been just a job to me. It’s being invited into one of the most meaningful moments in someone’s life. It’s storytelling. It’s capturing memories that will only become more valuable as the years pass. The quiet moments, the laughter, the emotion, and the love shared between two people and everyone around them.

Over the years I’ve photographed so many incredible wedding days, and I often wonder where those stories have gone since.

📸 Second Shooter Wanted

Tamara Langmaid Photography is looking for a casual second shooter / assistant to join me on wedding days.
(note this is end of season & mostly weekend work only)
the right fit will have the opportunity to carry through to the following season.

I'm after someone who is reliable, professional, and genuinely enjoys capturing real moments.

Requirements:
• Full frame camera (Canon preferred)
• Solid knowledge of camera operation
• Shoots with intention, not just spray & pray
• Confident around people, couples & children
• Must be available on weekends (non-negotiable)
• Presents themselves in a professional manner on wedding days
• Your own public liability insurance
• Rate is based on experience level.

This role is ideal for someone wanting more experience shooting weddings and being part of a relaxed, fun wedding day environment. I’m looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being part of a wedding day and takes pride in capturing meaningful moments.
