‘The puppacino is being served at 4pm’ is not something we thought we’d be saying at a wedding and yet.. here we areee! Gabbinbar’s service is top notch whether you’re the couple, a guest, a pup, or a vendor and we adore them for it 🥹

Maddy and Matt’s breathtakingly beautiful Toowoomba winter wedding day sneak peeks are in and we’re trying our very best to be restrained with what we share so this carousel isn’t 1000 slides long. So, here’s some of their portraits, featuring their beautiful girl Sasha, and her puppacino.

A love story that was woven through many music festivals meant that colour, chaos, sparkle, and incredible tunes was always gonna be on the cards for Bec and Will, and oh my goddddddd did these two deliver! The theme was ‘jungle disco’, and they asked their guests to go bold with colour, texture and sparkle. The outfits were SO spectacular that there was an impromptu fashion parade mid-reception, with beautifully adorned guests strutting past the bridal table to Madonna’s Vogue and cheers the crowd. If we could somehow bottle the love in that room we’d be gazillionaires 🥹💖

Until we figure out how to do that, it was SO freakin’ tough to pick just a few of their sneak peeks to share, every guest fit deserves its own post, all the handmade elements, the care and the love that these two showed everyone and that everyone showed them… hopefully this little post gives you a bit of an idea of what it was like to be in their atmosphere for the day. Can’t wait to show you more!

If you co-owned a beautiful restaurant in Fish Lane, you’d throw one helluva wedding party for all your family and friends in there too! Just a few sneak peeks from Ting & Matt’s beautiful wedding day last Sunday. They kicked off at Boulevard Gardens and were hopingggg so damn hard for good weather so they could use the beautiful outdoor ceremony area. Luckily, June is pretty freakin’ gorgeous most of the time, there wasn’t a cloud in the sky for their day! Then we went wandering around South Bank and down Fish Lane, stopping here and there to use cool light and different textures for portraits as we made our way to Clarence for good food, wine and cocktails, and the par-tayyy!

Piiiiiink! If you’re gonna lean in to colour, lean alllllll the way in like Soph & Andy and their crew did on their beautiful wedding day at Gabbinbar in Toowoomba. With Soph and her gals all in Acler, Soph’s brother and bridesman in his matching magenta jacket, we just knew we were in for a fun day before the outfits were even off their hangers. And when Soph and Andy led the charge into the golden april afternoon light to kick off their garden party with that suitably pink cocktail tower, our suspicions of awesomeness were well and truly confirmed 💖

We tried to be restrained with how many bazillions of images we crammed into this carousel from Lauren and Jake’s beautiful wedding in the Gold Coast hinterland but it was tooooo hard! The good news is, that means everyone gets to bathe their eyeballs in this amazingness over and over! This is the nicest thing! Heidi and Chris just got their full gallery back and sent us this really lovely email and now we’re sharing it cos it’s just tooooo bloody lovely! Swipe across to read it!

They got married in a cow paddock, by a creek, in Currumbin on the Gold Coast. It was a big ol’ DIY wedding / paddock rave by night. We reckon a lot of people stress about rain on their wedding day, but we promise it doesn’t matter!

We can’t promise that the rain will stop right on cue for the ceremony and portraits, but it seems to happen a lot! We had so much fun with these two and their wedding party embracing the mud and the epic scenery and the gorgeous overcast light. Look at the joy, would ya?! Who even cares what the weather is doing when the margaritas are flowing, all your favourites are here, and you’re balls deep in love and the goodest of good times!

Can’t wait to share more (and more and more). So many favourite bits! Such an incredible day!

Gemma and Jon’s Maleny rainbow flowerbomb wedding blog is live (link in bio!) and we wanted to share a little example of how we actually do bridal party portraits ft. team Gemma!

We always start with eyeballs at the camera and smiling nicely. It’s the warm-up round, cos having a big camera pointed at you can feel weird. Then we all get to be ourselves, and being on camera feels a whole lot less scary.

How do we move through all of this in a relaxed and fun way? There’s two of us! While one photographer is working through portraits with one side of the crew, the other is shooting the other side. You get the nice organised shots AND the loosey goosey ones, and we get you back to the party fast.
