As the day draws to a close, the fading light casts a gentle glow across the calm waters of Tasman Lake in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. Surrounded by rugged mountain peaks and the vast Tasman Glacier, the landscape takes on a quiet and peaceful mood. "Edge of the World"
I’ve spent as much time shooting in blowing snowstorms as most people do on sunny beach days—winter and action are two of my favourite elements in landscape photography. This was captured at 1/50s to retain texture in the moving snow, allowing a natural softness that blends into the background. I was lucky with brief breaks in the fog that revealed the scene in layers. No blending used—just subtle dodging and burning. Shot on Nikon D850 with 11–24mm, Mt Buffalo Photo Tour, July 2021.

I like waterfalls, I have always liked them. Waterfalls have voices they have personalities and they are alive.
I am still enjoying exploring and working on the images from my trip to New Zealand. This one was from August 2017 I missed a fiew good shots because I just couldn't take my eyes and mind out of the wonderful display to concentrate on photography.
