Lise + Cam// We packed a lot into this short time window. I’d call this a Sunst/Dusk Elopement Session as the traffic and times worked against us - but we knew this would happen from the start. I kept things simple: I used mostly one lens and decided to leave the film camera in my bag. I also scouted the place the day before (check the reel from Thursday) so I knew roughly how I wanted the session to flow. Lise and Cam just did their own thing really :)

Sunrise at the Sydney Opera House. Film photography with Nikon F100 and a roll of Fujifilm.

Overexposing the film by 2/3rd of a stop by setting the ISO manually to 250 from the original 400. This should give me better colours and help with tricky exposures.

I brought only a 50 mm lens - a very good all rounder but it can be a bit tight. The gates to the Botanical Gardens were still closed when the sun rose.

I briefly considered going over the fence but suddenly a Police officer appeared:)

Sunset surprise proposal on Rottnest Island. We tend to take Rottnest Island for granted a little and forget how unique it is to anyone who doesn’t live in Perth. People are seriously unsure if they’ll get to see any quokkas… Aidan flew all the way from over east to surprise Laura with a ring. And surprised she was :)
