Hi everyone.

Here is another shot I captured of the 210 F/A-18 F Super Hornet doing its performance along the Brisbane River, giving the spectators in this highrise a nice close look underneath.

Heard a few rumours about some strange lights in the sky at night lately, anyhow tonight I saw them for myself.

It went on for about 30 minutes and going in all different directions.

I got a short video below.

Thanks to a friend of mine I quickly discovered they are Starlink Flares.

There are Timelapse videos on YouTube showing them.

Have you seen them before?

HITTING THE BULLSEYE 🎯

I made a 6 hour round trip to Belongil Beach at Byron Bay for a 1 second window to get this “Bullseye” shot that I have been wanting for years.

The light on the Lighthouse does a full rotation about every 10 seconds so you only get one opportunity on one spin only at capuring the light facing you while the lighthouse is in the centre (horizontally and vertically) of the very quickly rising full moon. So the pressure was on not to stuff it up or it would of been a extremely looooooong drive home 😂

I met up with a great friend of mine Kelvin from, Phase Four Photography by Kelvin Hennessy give him a follow, such amazing work!
He is the man in the know for exactly where to stand to get this shot by using Photopills, 2 meters either side of the spot can give you a completely different composition then what you are chasing.
We were 3.6km from the Lighthouse. Kelvin has captured many awesome shots like this over the years. Thanks for your help Kelvin.

Lastnight was very rare, it was perfect in so many ways. There was no cloud, no strong wind, no haze, and very importantly great well balanced lightning and were also dead square on to the front of the Byron Bay Lighthouse!

The other dozen photographers all knew this and were also very excited for this special evening.
