Had a blast shooting the 2026 BMW i4 eDrive35 for Carsales' latest review, out and about around Melbourne. There's something satisfying about capturing a car that doesn't try too hard to look "futuristic", clean lines, that fastback silhouette, and a killer Fire Red paint job that photographed beautifully in the Melbourne light.

Behind the lens: 2026 GAC M8 PHEV Luxury

Stoked to share this one, I shot the photography for the road test review of the all-new GAC M8 PHEV Luxury, a plug-in hybrid people mover with some serious Lexus LM energy (and a price tag that's turning heads too).

I took it down to the Melbourne coastline to capture that huge grille, the chrome 18" alloys, and those butterfly-opening doors against the bay backdrop. Blade White paint never looked so good next to blue water!

The car came away with a 78/100 expert rating, with the standout being those second-row captain's chairs (massage function, heating, the works).

I recently wrote and photographed a piece for TruckSales.com.au talking to experienced drivers about what the licensing system still isn't teaching new entrants. Load restraint, braking technique, how to read traffic, trailer hook-up procedure, the unwritten etiquette of the road. There's also a broader concern from some of the old hands that the informal apprenticeship culture that once filled those gaps has quietly disappeared.
