The truth is there is no one way that they should be.

They’re adjusting.
They’re feeling things they don’t fully understand yet.
They need softness, not pressure in this time.

I never expect perfection from your children, kids will be kids! I just meet them where they’re at.

There’s something so special about motherhood, in every stage it needs to be celebrated. It all changes way too quickly.

These sessions were created to honour mothers, the way they bloom in each season of motherhood.

For my very first Mother’s Day Studio Minis at
The Studio on Hamilton, I’ve partnered with the incredibly talented Olivia from to bring this space to life with the most beautiful, romantic florals.

Think soft textures, gentle tones, and a space where you can simply be with your babies…
held, connected, and present.

Whether it’s a cuddle on the couch surrounded by flowers,
or those in-between moments as your little ones move and play,
these are the memories worth keeping… and a little extra than my usual sessions outdoors.

I know things feel expensive right now.
I hear it in almost every conversation.

But newborn sessions were never about just “another thing to book.”

They’re about holding onto a season that changes overnight.
A season where your baby still fits perfectly in your arms…
where everything is new, slow, and fleeting all at once.

And the truth is… there’s never a perfect time.
There’s just now.

I’ve had mums come back to me years later, saying
“I wish I had done it.”
And just quietly, I wish I did too. I made the mistake of thinking I could do my own, and they’re beautiful, but I’m not in them.

These images become part of your story.
Your baby’s story.
Your family’s beginning.
A new chapter.
