A reminder of the way they laughed.
The way the ocean sounded.
The cold water lapping your feet at sunset in winter.
The way you held each other without even thinking about it.

The moments that feel ordinary while you’re living them often become the ones you miss the most.

That’s why photos matter.

Not because they freeze a moment in time, but because they help you return to it.

Years from now, I hope you don’t just look at your photos and remember what happened.

Bec & Whiskey absolutely understood the assignment. The tones, the light, the mood… everything just worked.

✨ Kylie celebrates 1 year of Sobriety today 💪🏼

Our photo day started gloomy and wet and while every other photographer was cancelling their Sunday rained out shoots, I was explaining to Kylie how fun rain shoots are and she was all in!

I was NOT cancelling this shoot though and why would I when got to photograph this absolute ray of chaos-and-sunshine as she celebrates a whole year of choosing herself! Every morning, every moment, every messy-beautiful step.

When I asked Kylie what her favourite part of being sober was, she said
“Becoming my true self again.”
And honestly… you can see it. The spark. The softness. The “oh hey, there she is” energy in every shot.

Kylie, thanks for letting me capture your comeback era.
Here’s to clarity, courage, and the kind of glow you have when you're dancing in the rain 🤎
