Rising Milkyway Over Kingston Tasmania

IC2944 - The Running Chicken Nebula.

This nebula is a vast region of hydrogen gas and dust populated by young, blue, exceptionally hot stars. In a few million years, the most massive of these blue stars may go out as supernovae.

IC 2944 has a radius of 71 light-years and located around 6500 LY away from us. It is also called the Lambda Centauri Nebula because it appears in the same field of view as the star Lambda Centauri in the sky.

The entire Running Chicken Nebula is a large complex with an apparent size comparable to that of 25 full Moons. IC 2944 appears the closest to the star Lambda Centauri.

"Crux & The Dead Tree" - Gem of Southern Hemisphere

This dead tree was loacted on a little roadside peak, gave a perfect upwards angle towards the sky. Southern cross is always a stunning part of the milkyway for me and available whole year in it's glory.

How about a quick drive upto the Milkyway Galactic Core🥰🥰🥰

I was driving down in Tasmania, found this straight Stretch of road. PhotoPills night AR showed the rising milkyway will be perfectly aligned with this road, so waited about an hour to get this perfectly aligned shot.

Rising Emu & The Crux🥰🥰🥰

Waiting for the Galactic core to get high enough in the sky to shoot at a location near to the windmill (currently processing those images), thought to utilize the waiting time and pointed the camera towards the Crux. It is one of my favorite part of the milkyway, it feels even more vibrant than the galactic core itself.

A Dead Tree Pointing Towards The Milkyway

This dead tree stares the milkyway every night possibily from many years...........I was driving on rural country side road when this pointing tree attracted my attention towards it. Most of the times, avoiding the highways and a short drive on rural road is all we need🥰🥰🥰......
