Very happy to announce one of my favourite images of all time, “Mouthful” took out Bronze at the Underwater Awards Australasia over the weekend in the “International Waters” category 🙏🏼

Massive thanks to everybody involved! Such an incredible moment that took place in Baja California December last year. Could not have been in a better position to capture this shot as the brydes whale came bursting through a bait ball with its mouth wide open. Crazy things like this always seem to happen when we join the crew at Latitude Encounters 😂😁

Big congrats also to all of the other finalists and winners!

Honoured to have my image “Arms of Connection” selected as a finalist in this year’s Ocean Photographer of the Year Award!

My photo was captured in the shallow water lagoon at Lady Elliot Island and shows two octopus mating - something that I’d never witnessed before.

It was such a crazy morning with so many octopuses around, all extremely active climbing over the reef. I added a few extra shots from the shoot to this post. Swipe to see them all 👉🏼
