Content creators are not the worst…. But we do need to work together to provide a clearer expectation on what it should look like on a wedding day.
Currently updating our contract and will do a SALT specific post on what we will and won’t work with on a wedding day so that our couples are informed and can make the right decisions for them.

I don’t want to stir the boat - but sometimes it needs to be…
I want to make clear - there is a place for content creators, for their service, their style capture, and what they offer couples. BUT when it directly impedes on how we serve our couples then a discussion around boundaries needs to happen.

Content creation IS NOT a photo/ video team so why are they continually behaving as though they are? It directly affects our capture and is not ok.

NOTE: there are many content creators that we have worked with and absolutely love. They are usually photogs themselves so inherently understand the boundaries.
Let’s also be clear - it’s not about competition- it’s about serving our couples well.

CREATORS: I don’t hate you - I love you - I just want to be collaborative. If you are unsure of the boundaries with a team you are working with - or if what you offer your couples is in conflict with their media team - I suggest you contact them to chat it out before the wedding day.

COUPLES: please reach out to your photogs before booking a content creator in. Talk with them about the boundaries, contracts and package inclusions. We may have creators to recommend to you. If we haven’t worked with your preferred supplier, it gives us opportunity to contact them directly ourselves to chat through a smooth collaborative experience.

It’s safe to say we are falling for Melbourne! Weddings hit like the best kind of punch here. Full of movement, chaos, personality and music! Shyla & Sam - can you get a more delightful duo. All week these two were beyond excited for their day. Not stressed (although no doubt a little of that) but complete excitement for what they were stepping into.
Their day was non stop! Towers of strawberry milk, intense string serenades, dance floors were buzzing, elevators were stoping, toes needed numbing, white gowns, red gowns, grand archways, rings + Rolex’s. Shyla + Sam you gave us everything!

Absolutely magic in the form of Vanessa & Shaun. Take one look at Vanessa and you lose breath a little - she was effortless! But as most wonderfully gorgeous humans do, she was completely unaware of how breathtaking she was. Shaun on the other hand… had that hair flop down pat! 😂😮‍💨 Both of them absolutely wonderful people. Both of them took time out of their reception to just come and chat to us… welcoming us into their family for the day, not as vendors but intentionally invited guests. We left their dancefloor with a happy hearts + a little goodie bag - snake lollies always hit the feels - and even a little toy for our doggo from their doggo.
When kindness meets kindness and falls in love, the world becomes a brighter place!

Adrianna + Anthony - the full film. Every time we watch their film we smile - it’s their absolute sweetness that gets us. Their film was@different to what I thought it would be - this time swinging more to a classic timelessness driving soft moments, paired with a whole lot of modern sophistication and elegance- the perfect mix of soft romantic meets a vibrant ever moving atmosphere of chaos and elevated celebration.
