This was my second shoot with this wonderful family and it was extra special to meet their newest little family member, as well as seeing how much their first son had grown! This family loves travelling up from Victoria for a family holidays on the Gold Coast and I was lucky enough to get to spend some of their time away capturing these gorgeous family photos with them ☀️ I can’t stop smiling when I look at the last photo in this little series. The connection between these two lovers and parents is so beautiful ❤️

Family - life’s greatest blessing. A group that dreams, laughs, grows and loves together. The ones you can count on, who are not only present in the good times. ⁣

Some families are separated by distance, and many of the families I meet have come together for the first time in a long time! Often it’s to meet the newest, littlest family member ✨ ⁣

I understand how special these reunions are. I have my sister in London, my Dad and his partner in Melbourne and a lot of Adam’s family lives over in Western Australia. Whenever we all get to be together again, I feel so lucky. Have you got family overseas or interstate too?

Four generations together for the first time 🤎 This is the second family of 18 I have photographed in the past twelve months and it was such a fun evening. This family travelled from New Zealand and Western Australia and it was the first time they had all come together as a family. I could feel how special this time was for them and they said it might be the only opportunity they get to all come together like this. I have no doubt that these photos will be treasured for a lifetime 🫶🏼

These loved-up souls got engaged the day before our shoot! So naturally their shoot was full of connection, joy, sharing some of their love story with me and some quiet cuddles and moments of appreciation for each other. Congratulations again you two, what awesome timing 💍🥂

Thank you to these very talented photographers, who are also my friends, for these beautiful photos of my pregnancy with Lennox. I absolutely loved being pregnant, it was such a special season of my life, so these photos will be a sweet reminder of this time that the two of us were one ❤️ ⁣

A winter swim just down the road from our home with a very special little passenger on board. ⁣⁣

I can’t believe it’s getting close to end of my pregnancy. This third trimester has absolutely flown by! I’m soaking in every day that I still get to carry you and feel you growing happily in my belly. ⁣⁣

That feeling when you can finally get wet at the end of your shoot 😏💦 ⁣

Some of my favourite photos are often taken right at the end of your session. The kids can finally let loose in the water, you’re all feeling relaxed because the shoot was a success and the light is usually just perfect as we finish up after sunset 🌞

“Absolutely amazing professional to say the least. Alana has been kind to me and my family from the initial contact through to the end of the photoshoot and thereafter. Alana has been very patient with us especially with my mother who is disabled. She was so patient that the photoshoot went beyond the time allocated, which was very sweet on her behalf and as a result, we didn’t feel rushed. Alana is super punctual and it didn’t matter if it rained, hailed or shine she was there for us particularly on this rainy day when we needed her. Alana had fantastic photoshoot ideas and was very courteous when suggesting them to us. We are forever thankful for the amazing experience and cannot wait to do it again. 5 stars ⭐️ from me for sure.”
