What a great weekend at the AKAS Templers Stockman's Challenge at Templers back in February.

Stockman's Challenges are one of the best tests of horsemanship in Australia. Riders and horses compete across two phases. Dry work patterns such as spins, stops and rollbacks. Then cattle work where the horse must control and move a beast in the arena. It takes skill, training and a strong partnership between horse and rider.

There was plenty of talent on display across the weekend. Young riders, experienced competitors and some outstanding horses all putting their training to the test. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly and full of good people who enjoy working horses.

I had a fantastic time capturing the action through the lens. Fast runs, sharp turns and plenty of grit made for some great photos.

A big thank you to Kelly and Adam for putting the event together and for the work that goes on behind the scenes to make these events happen. Events like this keep the horsemanship culture alive and give riders a place to challenge themselves and their horses.

What a day at the Wilmington Rodeo.

Ash and Kurt from Rodeo Action Photography were on the fence line from start to finish. We captured big rides, fast turns, tough competition, and a crowd that brought the energy all day.

There are some cracking shots of competitors giving it everything in the arena. We also made sure to grab plenty of photos of the committee members who worked hard behind the scenes to make the event run smoothly. These events do not happen without you.

Well done to everyone involved. Riders, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters. You made it one to remember.

The Murray Bridge Rodeo is back!!!
And it delivered.

This event marked the first rodeo in Murray Bridge for many years.
The crowd filled the grounds.
Tickets sold out.
The energy stayed high all night.

Hot weather forced program changes in the lead up.
The organisers handled it with calm planning and fast decisions.
The volunteers worked non stop.
The sponsors backed the event when it mattered most.
The result was a smooth and well run rodeo.

Murray Bridge Rodeo showed what strong community effort looks like.
It was a win for the town and for the sport.

We captured the rides, the spills, the wins, and the crowd moments.
We enjoyed every minute behind the lens.
