What an SANFL Prelim final that was today..

The Eagles WWTFC came out of the blocks hard and fast kicking 3.3 to the Sturt Football Club inaccurate kicking of 1.5

Ash Johnson ended up starring kicking 6.1

There was however, a nervous wait in the second half we he went off clutching his knee but returned not long after and tore the game out of the Eagles grasp.

Sturt will now face off in the SANFL GF against a rested Norwood Football Club

The Eagles farewelled Joseph Sinor in a guard of honour as he will now retire.

Congratulations mate.

The week off certainly helped the NorwoodFC in there win over the Official Sturt Football Club in yesterdays SANFL Semi Final 2 winning by 19 points in a tough battle.

The reward, another week off and straight into the GF

Sturt now face off in the prelim against an up and about Eagles WWTFC team.

Comeback of the year by the Eagles WWTFC being 34 points down and winning the game against the Glenelg Football Club in yesterday’s SANFL Semi Final 1 game by 4 points…

Will they be without their energiser bunny James Rowe though?? Time will tell.

What a day at the SANFL Semi Finals, 1 and 2

The Eagles WWTFC blew everyone’s mind, knocking the Glenelg Football Club (SANFL) out of finals with a 4 point win and the following game saw minor premiers Norwood Football Club win against Sturt Football Club by 19 points in a highly contested game, and head straight into a week off, and another Grand Final.

Wow….

2 absolute ripping games yesterday, the SANFL Elimination Final 1 and the Qualifying Final.

The first game saw the Eagles WWTFC beat the West Adelaide Football Club JUST in an epic battle.. West Adelaide poor accuracy costing them the game.

THe second game was between the Sturt Football Club and the Glenelg Football Club (SANFL)

Sturt ending up the winners in this tight tussle.

Today’s first SANFL Elimination final, saw the Eagles WWTFC take the win in an absolute epic final.
Missing too many goals, West Adelaide Football Club had most of the play in the last half, but simply could not put it on the scoreboard.

Such a shame, after an amazing season.

Today started with Sturt Football Club beating the Adelaide Football Club in their SANFL match at Unley Oval, followed by the Crows SMOKING GWS in our last home and away game before finals!

Thanks Billy Dowling my son was so nervous he closed his eyes. You’re a favourite of his mate.
