Two days of relentless rain nearly wrecked our Sun Moon Lake plans… and it turned into one of the best parts of the whole trip 🌧️

We caught a boat past a hotel suite with a gold-plated bathroom, tried an 80-year-old tea egg stall, ate our way through a $35 abalone lunch, and stumbled onto the real history behind the monk from Journey to the West (spoiler: it’s not just a legend).

巧遇妈祖出巡超震撼 We Stumbled Into a Mazu Procession

完全没有计划到的行程——走在安平街头，突然遇上妈祖出巡队伍经过，锣鼓喧天，这才是最真实的台湾文化。
