Unpopular opinion… not every photo has to be perfectly sharp. 👀

This dreamy, motion-blur style is everywhere right now, and while it’s not usually my style, I thought I’d have a play with it while editing.

You’ll probably notice I still kept the couple fairly sharp… I just can’t fully commit to the blurry look. 😂

So… what do you think? I’m interested to know.

🤍 To my fellow wedding vendors and small business owners… this one’s for you ☺️

Lately I’ve been thinking about how powerful a little bit of support can be.

Behind every business account is a real person pouring their heart into what they do. Sometimes a simple like, comment, share, or acknowledging a tag is enough to remind someone that they’re seen.

We all know how hard small business can be, especially in the wedding industry. Imagine how different this community would feel if we all made a conscious effort to support one another a little more.

I genuinely love celebrating other local businesses, whether their post has anything to do with me or not. I’ve been really trying to make a conscious effort to stop and like and comment on other business’ posts lately to show my support.

Yesterday I realised that there were a lot of fellow businesses I wasn’t following, due to losing my account last year, so I apologise for that. I’ve tried to re-follow as many as possible again.

Let’s be the businesses that celebrate each other’s wins, recommend one another, engage with each other’s content, and build each other up instead of scrolling past.

Here’s to lifting each other up a little more. 🤍✨

One of the most common messages I receive is, “We’ve been following your work for ages and finally decided to enquire!”

Unfortunately, sometimes by then, their wedding date has already been booked.

I’m almost fully booked for the remainder of this year, but still have a few remaining dates available due to reschedules.
