The art of allowing a moment to be what it is - a moment without the pressure and push for it to be perfect, this is ultimately where my heart lies, to capture memories as they are, just as they are. No fancy work, or perfect homes, picturesque scenes but raw material that isn’t curated.

The quiet exhaustion, the silence between feeds, the overwhelming sense of love and loss - motherhood wrapped up in a passing moment.

The comforts of a mother and all that she brings ~ she creates life, heals, nourishes and gives her whole existence over to her child.
A woman is so much more than just ‘a woman or a mother’; she is a force of energy that carries galaxies of strength and wisdom. A sacred power 🌙✨🌱

The slow return to art, the creative heart that has been dormant for some time.

It felt so incredibly heart filling to be able to create with another creative woman and to be able to honestly and authentically reconnect with my inner artist.

I call it the gentle return home, one image at a time…

at home amongst the wild - also know as life mixed with love, warmth and rawness (motherhood).

It doesn’t have to be fancy, or mind blowing or life changing: just play and your soul will thank you for it.

Taken in a mere moment - all captured on my phone, super spontaneous and instantaneous with a vintage frame we’d found along the side of the road on our way to go pinecone hunting, with a hand knitted poncho we had picked up in a thrift store in the morning.

For so long, I made art to be liked, to be seen, validated and to feel like I was good enough.
But somewhere along the way,
I forgot how to make it for me.

Now, I create to survive —
to breathe, to come back home to myself.
Not every piece will be beautiful,
not every picture taken will make sense or evoke emotions,
but if it fills my cup up
and quiets the noise inside,
then it’s doing what it’s meant to do - survive the pain.

Art doesn’t have to please anyone, or make sense to even anyone, it just has to make me feel alive again.

where my colors faded and my hands grew still. I fell into a slumber.
But softly, through silence and surrender,
