'Pretty Bogan' (2026)

Bougainvillea is a genus of thorny ornamental vines, bushes, and trees belonging to the family Nyctaginaceae. They are native to Mexico, Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Peru, and Argentina. They also happen to grow quite well in my backyard!

'Seeping' (2023)

It's been a long time between uploads!

Life has been crazy. Amongst new jobs and the chaos of everyday life, my wife and I have welcomed our first child into the world - a baby girl. Little Sofia is 10 days old and this upload is dedicated to her. Papa loves you, my darling ❤️

This photo was taken in 2023 when there were just two of us and we could spend a wonderful day exploring the Meander State Forest. Ah...how life has changed, but I wouldn't change a thing.

I hope you like it, and if you're sipping a wine right now, please raise a toast to my little girl, Sofia, and perhaps send us some good vibes for more sleep and an ever so slightly more settled baby 😬

I cannot believe it's the end of another year already! Where did 2023 go?

My final image for 2023 is a quick little handheld shot of the beautiful striped trees within my local forest.

'Hartz Ache' (2023)

Took a little wander around Hartz Mountain National Park last weekend. The weather was very broody, but by late evening the sun broke through the heavy cloud and illuminated the range.

I didn't quite make it up to the top as it was getting late and was mostly covered in cloud...and I'm a wimp. Also, the frickin 'steps' (read: rock scramble) at the end of this walk cooked my legs.

Obviously, I was forced to sit and enjoy the view which allowed me to capture this 6-shot panorama. Ahh, Tasmania....😊

'Aged to Perfection' (2023)

Fossil Cove in Southern Tassie is a pretty special little spot to see in the first light of the day. I was lucky enough to have a touch of high cloud catching the light to match the warmth of the pre-dawn glow hitting the ancient fossil rock.

A very serene way to enjoy a morning.
