I found this abandoned farmhouse just near Casterton on a recent trip to Mt Gambier.
I am embarking on a photographic project documenting abandoned farmhouses, sheds, farm machinery and old cars etc. before they disappear for ever.

Is this Fine Art Photography or just a terrible image of a tree?
This is my first attempt at trying a technique that involves many many layers of images, one on top of the other.
I know it lacks contrast, and the tree tends to blend into the background a little too much.
My next adventure into Fine Art Photography will be experimenting with a pinhole camera and also ICM.

Participant requirements: Own DLSR camera, lens within 50-80mm focal range
A practical introduction to designing and shooting figurative fine art photographs.
An opportunity to work with an experienced photographer and model duo to learn and apply technical, creative and etiquette conventions of the figurative fine art genre.
In this workshop you will be guided to use your own camera in conjunction with prepared sets, studio lighting and a professional model.
Focus areas:
1. Lighting and styling (props, backdrops, shadows, angles)
2. Working with models (posing, etiquette, costuming and draping the figure)
