This may be my favourite photo of 2026 and I’ll tell you why.

It’s not in perfect focus or what I expected.

A bit of grass got in the bottom left of my camera. It gives the photo a reddish/pink tone to the photo. So it gives the image a film camera look. Which is 2027 I NEED to get myself a film camera- it’s time 🤣

Also I always find myself loving portrait photos more than landscape. Where as even though this was taken as a portrait I cropped it to a landscape.

Also this beautiful family’s first family photos and look how effortless and stunning REBECCA LARRAIN looks.

Even after 5 plus years of taking photos of family’s- I’m still always evening surprised. And that is my favourite part of this job. Never stop learning ✨

Shakira and her beautiful family ✨

Oh my you would think the more kids- the more chaos. But I actually love when there’s school aged kids at my sessions. Seeing the bond between them and the baby is just priceless. A question I get a lot is, are the older siblings welcome. And of course it’s a yes. Was even able to show some of my photography tricks.

And also once the kids are done- I grab some toys or colouring if needed! But most the time the kids just enjoy chilling in the waiting room ✨
