PITCH BLACK 26. Electronic warfare and control aircraft came from 3 country's for PB26 and probably most notable was 🇯🇵🇯🇵 航空自衛隊 Japan Air Self-Defense Force with 2x E-2D Advanced Hawkeye, pictured is #51-3480. 🇦🇺🇦🇺 Royal Australian Air Force had the Wedgetail -005 and a Poseidon -003, then 🇸🇬🇸🇬 The Republic of Singapore Air Force had a Gulfstream G550-MSA #016. All taken between the 27-30/7/26.

Brisbane Riverfire 2026 shot from Southbank. Those two in the back of the C17 have the best view. RAAF C-17A Globemaster -211 and F/A-18F Super Hornet -210 tearing up the city skyline.

PITCH BLACK 26. 🇸🇬🇸🇬 The Republic of Singapore Air Force had 8 of their F-16C/D Block 52 aircraft buzzing Darwin for BP26. Again another first for me seeing the single and twin seat variations of this legendary aircraft. Aircraft numbers were #611, #614, #621, #627, #641, #678, #679 and #694. All shot on return to base on runways 11 and 29. 27,28,29 and 30/7/26.

PITCH BLACK 26. The 🇦🇺🇦🇺 Royal Australian Air Force , had quite a number of Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning 2s participating in the exercise and added a few new tail numbers to my collection. Here is -004, -006, -011, -030, -067 and -069 all taken on return to base besides 004, which was on takeoff.

PITCH BLACK 26. 🇩🇪🇩🇪 German Air Force (LUFTWAFFE) had 6x EUROFIGHTER TYPHOON - Official Page #30+70, #30+94, #31+01, #31+09, #31+36 and #31+50 out for PB26 which included the awesome custom livery on #31+09. These are bloody awesome looking aircraft. Taken on the 27,28 and 30/7/26 from both ends.

PITCH BLACK 26. 🇯🇵🇯🇵The 航空自衛隊 Japan Air Self-Defense Force had 4 of their Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning 2, stealth strike fighters #19-8726, #29-8733, #35-8737 and #49-8740 participating this year with an AEW&C E-2D (for a later post). It was so good seeing all of these different Air Forces come together in one location. These returns are on final approach for runway 11. 27/7/26

PITCH BLACK 26. The 🇹🇭🇹🇭 กองทัพอากาศไทย Royal Thai Air Force brought out 3x 2 seat and 1x single seat F-16A/B fighters #40301, #40302, #40305 and the gorgeous Viper tailed #40308 to learn more about air to air refueling before they get an MRTT. So awesome to see these for the first time . Bring on the next PB. 27,28 and 29/7/26. These were returns into runway 11.
