Be back soon šŸ’›

I’m taking some time away to be home, really fully home, over the winter. My books are closed to new clients until spring and I’ll be quieter on here for a while too - not that I think I could be any quieter than I have been on here lately 🤣

But first I just want to say — this year has been something else. Genuinely one of the best years my business has ever had, and honestly? So much of it happened while barely showing up on this app. New families, returning families, bookings that came purely through word of mouth. It’s been such a gift and I don’t take any of it for granted.

Thank you for trusting me with your stories and your memories. And thank you for supporting my work even when I go quiet. It means more than you know!

I’ll see you later this year šŸ’›

I accidentally took the most blissful, unintentional break from Instagram… and I didn’t rush to come back.

This season of life is so full - photography, nursing, motherhood, all the real-life pieces - and because my sessions are usually booked a few months ahead, I realised something unexpected… there wasn’t actually pressure to be here every day.

And if you know me… the SWEET RELIEF of not constantly being on this app has been very real 🤣

I’m still here. Still creating. Still pouring everything into the families who trust me to capture their stories.
Just a little quieter online, and a lot more present in real life.

Thanks for being here whether I post daily… or disappear for a while šŸ¤

I’ve been running this little business of mine for six years now. Since 2019. It still feels wild to say that out loud. And at its core, nothing has really changed—there’s still that moment where someone trusts me with their family, their brand new baby, the beautiful chaos of their life as it is right now. That part will always be the heartbeat of what I do.

But everything around it? That’s shifted, over and over again.

There’s been the heavy, humbling work of nursing… witnessing people in their most vulnerable moments and learning what it really looks like to show up for someone. Then I became a mum. And then I did it again. Each time reshaping me completely.

And 2025 brought another shift—but this one has been quiet. No big reinvention. Just a gentle recalibration.

It’s been about being intentional. Showing up even when I’m absolutely cooked. When hubby’s away. When both kids need everything from me and the days feel too short to hold it all.

And here’s what I’ve learned: I don’t have to stop just because I can’t do everything. It’s not all or nothing. It’s not perfect or nothing. It’s doing what I can, in this season, and letting the rest be okay. It’s boundaries. It’s acceptance. It’s trusting that this season is full and consuming… and temporary.

There will be a time when I have more space, more capacity, more of my own energy again. But right now? I’m here. In the thick of it. Still showing up.

I’m so grateful for every single client who’s trusted me with their newborn photos, their maternity moments, their family exactly as they are. You’ve let me step into something so special, and I don’t take that lightly.

I’m proud of this business. Proud of how it’s grown and changed and survived six years of life happening around it. Proud that the heart of it—the reason I started—is still solid.

Here’s to whatever the next season brings šŸ’›

Studio sessions have quickly become my absolute favourite. There’s just something about stripping it all back and capturing your family as you really are — the cuddles, the laughs, the chaos… all of it.

And yes, as a toddler mum myself, I absolutely do a little happy dance every time I actually win the toddler and get them involved šŸ˜†

I’m now booking newborn studio sessions for Shoalhaven & Jervis Bay families from February onwards. Curious? DM me, comment, or drop a line on my website and I’ll send all the details your way!

I will forever love the fun and the beautiful chaos toddlers bring to a photoshoot. My number one rule? Lean into who they are.

If they want to run wild, I’m keeping up as best I can.
If they want to dance, I’m giving it a go (terribly).
If they’re a bit reserved, we take it slow - no pressure, ever.

I just feel really strongly about not forcing kids into anything. I’d rather meet them where they’re at, let them set the tone, and make sure they feel seen and respected.

Every child is different, but when they realise they’re safe to just be who they are… that’s when the real magic happens.

I ventured out of Jervis Bay and up to Kiama for this maternity photo session, capturing my beautiful friend Jade. Gosh I love this job šŸ«¶šŸ»

In two weeks, they’ll look different.

In two months, you’ll barely remember how small they were.

In two years, you’ll wish you could go back.

Newborn photography isn’t just about the photos—it’s about preserving a feeling. The weight of them on your chest. The way they curl into you. The overwhelming, all-consuming love that you can’t quite put into words.
My newborn sessions are calm and baby-led. Soft light. No rush. Just your family, exactly as you are in this moment.

No two sessions are ever the same—because no two families are. Most of the time, baby stays right where they belong: safe in your arms. There’s no forced posing or uncomfortable setups. Just real connection, captured as it happens.

If this sounds like what you’re looking for, comment NEWBORN or visit the link in bio. I’d love to chat.ā€‹ā€‹šŸ’›

There’s something about this time of year that pulls me inward. I’ve always been someone who needs to step back and marinate in everything, to process, to recalibrate, to let things settle before moving forward. I used to overthink it, criticise myself for going quiet while I figured things out. But I’ve learnt there’s power in honouring that rhythm. It gives me focus. It creates space for clarity. And something meaningful always emerges.

With a fair bit of deployment time ahead over the next year, I’m keeping my sessions intentionally limited. Quality over quantity isn’t just my approach, it’s my anchor.

And if you’re in a season where you’re feeling stretched thin, where showing up feels hard, where you’re questioning if you’re doing enough… I see you. Life with toddlers is relentless and beautiful and exhausting all at once. The demands don’t pause. But neither does your worth, your story, or the magic happening right in front of you.

It’s okay to lean into the season you’re in. To pull back when you need to. To let things unfold slowly instead of forcing them. There’s so much beauty in honouring your own pace. The real, the raw, the right now.

On that note, things have been blooming over here and I’ve got some truly beautiful sessions that I’m ready to share with you all - starting with the beautiful Sophie and her lovely family šŸ’›

Okay, here’s the thing: it doesn’t matter what you wear. Or where we go. Or if there’s a special occasion to celebrate.

Sure, I have favourite locations. Yes, I offer a client wardrobe. But that’s not where the magic lives.

The magic is YOU. Your chaos. Your cuddles. Your inside jokes and the way your kids make you laugh. The way they climb all over you. The mess and the noise and the love that’s so obvious it practically radiates off you. The real, unfiltered, beautiful you.

That’s what I’m here to capture. Not perfection. Not posed smiles that feel forced. The actual life you’re living together.

We can create something incredible literally anywhere. A field, a beach, your backyard, I don’t care. Because what makes an image unforgettable isn’t the backdrop or the perfectly coordinated outfits. It’s the life happening in front of my lens. It’s the connection. It’s you being exactly who you are.

I’m officially booked out for 2025, but 2026 dates are open. If you’re ready to capture your family exactly as you are, not as you think you should be, let’s make it happen. Get in touch! šŸ’›

What I really love about photography is that I never feel boxed in. Even when I follow the same workflow something always shifts. The light’s different. You’re different. And suddenly I’m seeing something completely new unfold in front of me.

That’s what keeps me forever drawn to this work. I’m not just repeating steps. I’m listening. Adapting. Trying to honour whatever story wants to be told in that moment. Sometimes it’s in the stillness between breaths. Sometimes it’s a glance that wasn’t meant for the camera.

It feels like poetry. The kind you don’t write. The kind that just happens. Raw and honest and impossible to recreate.

This beautiful mama and I have done four shoots together now. Getting to document her journey through motherhood has been such a gift. Watching her story unfold and change each time. I’m so honoured every single time someone trusts me like this - it means everything šŸ’›
