WHY I LOVE ELOPEMENTS

There’s something so incredibly special about an elopement.

It’s intimate. It’s relaxed. It’s completely about you two.

No huge guest list, no pressure to make sure everyone else is happy, no worrying about whether everything is “perfect”. Just two people choosing each other and creating a day that feels like them.

I love the little moments that happen during elopements the nervous laughs, the happy tears, the quiet moments together, the spontaneous adventures and the feeling that you can just slow down and soak it all in.

And as a photographer, I get to be there to capture all those raw, genuine moments without the day feeling like a photoshoot.

Yesterday was nothing short of magical at Colinton Country Lodge, Cottage & Barn

We had the absolute pleasure of witnessing two beautiful people come together, surrounded by their favourite people, to say I do. 🤍

And honestly, I couldn’t have picked a better day for it. The sunshine, the country setting, the love, the laughter and all the little moments in between made it one very special day.
