Two years ago, I had the absolute honour of capturing Emily & Rob as they awaited the arrival of their little boy, Charlie.

Fast forward to now… and here we are again, in the very same spot, documenting another chapter of their story, this time as they prepare to welcome their baby girl 💕

There’s something so incredibly special about returning to the same location and seeing how much love has grown in that time. From bump to toddler, and now to becoming a family of four, it’s moments like these that remind me why I love what I do so much.

Emily-rose, Robert & Charlie thank you for trusting me once again to capture these memories. I can’t wait to meet your beautiful little girl ✨

What an unexpected adventure Jaz & Jarratt’s wedding day turned into.

The plan was a beautiful hilltop ceremony on my brother in law’s property at Jimna with the most incredible view… but the weather had other ideas.

We still loaded up a couple of 4WDs with the bride and groom, both sets of parents, their two kiddos and the celebrant (who had absolutely no idea what she was getting herself into 😅) and headed up the mountain to try our luck.

Well… the hill quickly turned into a 4WD mud bath and it was clear the original plan wasn’t going to happen. So we regrouped and found the sweetest little creekside spot instead.

This location actually holds a special place in my heart too, it’s somewhere my husband and I camp a few times a year, so being able to photograph a wedding there made it even more meaningful for me.

With a light drizzle falling and the sound of the creek beside us, Jaz and Jarratt said their vows in a beautiful, simple ceremony surrounded by the people who matter most.

On the way home we stopped along a magical stretch of dirt road for a few more photos and honestly, the whole day turned out even more perfect than the original plan.

Sometimes the best moments come from the plans that don’t go the way we expected.

The skies around Kilcoy were busy on Sunday night, 25th January 🌩️

Multiple storms moved through the area, I managed to stay up and capture two before calling it a night. Powerful, unpredictable, and endlessly fascinating.

There’s nothing quite like lightning photography.

One of those right place, right time moments ✨
While my girls were busy fishing along the river at Beachmere, this little legend swooped in and put on a wildlife show of its own.

I’m pretty sure this is a Sacred Kingfisher (happy to be corrected!), perched proudly with its lizard lunch.

A beautiful reminder that some of the best photo opportunities happen when you’re not even looking for them 💙🦜

🎆 Kilcoy Christmas Carnival Fireworks 2025 did NOT disappoint! 🎆
The sky absolutely exploded in colour this year and I loved every second of capturing it. These are the moments that make lugging all the gear totally worth it, bright lights and big bangs.

Huge shout out to the Exchange Hotel for once again sponsoring this epic display and keeping the Christmas magic booming above Kilcoy. 🎄

Saturday afternoon I spent way too long sitting outside with a beer, just watching the lightning roll through before I finally grabbed the camera. I definitely missed a few spectacular strikes, but honestly, it was too good not to just sit back and enjoy the show for a while. Still, I’m pretty happy with the few shots I did manage to catch ⚡🍺
