POV: You’re a European Wasp (Vespula vulgaris) just chilling on a colourful autumn leaf minding your own business when some lunatic human lady shoves a camera lens that feels six inches from your face!

It even looks like I got given the judgmental side-eye! 🤣

Their bold yellow and black stripes are textbook aposematic coloration, nature’s loud “do not test me” warning. These guys are actually beneficial predators that hunt garden pests like caterpillars and flies.

Still got the shot though without disturbing the little guy, he stayed peacefully on the leaf! 🍁
One of nature’s tiniest gangsters. Respect the locals. 🐝

Happy Friday!! 😃

I've been experimenting again and playing around with different techniques in post edit.

I always find it helpful to try new things and get out of my comfort zone. It's a good way to keep things interesting and fresh!

👌 YES!! and I don't think I scream this loud enough at myself, I'm my own worst enemy sometimes!!

But, a good photographer, or any photographer, in my opinion, should always be learning and growing!
