I felt much safer taking photos of than going down it. First time ever snowboarding, managed to be able to manage the basics. Everyone on the mountain was awesome and so many Aussies to chat to. I know this is sacrilege for a Tasmanian, but I had never been up to cradle mountain before yesterday. Kelsey and I took our little dude up to right this wrong and check out the turning of the fagus. I was really hoping for some more harsh light and little cloud cover, but in the Tassie highlands you get what you get, and don’t get upset. Capped it off with a dinner at the which was perfect.

Also finally got a shot of the iconic boat shed in a muted golden hour which is cool too. Will be back up when the snow really hits.

A quick throwback to a couple of my best mates, photographing their wedding day. What makes me even more grateful for them both is getting to see them navigate their new chapter of parenthood, alongside myself and Kelsey. They are absolute couple goals and smashing parent life and I couldn’t be prouder.
