We are announcing some bitter sweet news today ๐Ÿ™ƒ We have decided to close Sour Studios in order to move on to the next exciting career venture. It comes with a heavy heart closing a space that has taught me so much and exposed me to so many wonderful people who share a love for film ๐ŸŽž๏ธ

We will be open until Saturday the 22nd of October for negative collection, however we are ending film development on Monday the 17th October. If you canโ€™t come in that time frame to collect your negatives no need to worry you, will still be able to collect negatives from in their opening hours until mid December โ˜บ๏ธ

We would like to thank you for all the love and support you have shown Sour over the last year and please extend that same support to the other local film labs we have here in Boorloo (because they are wonderful) ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’›๐Ÿงก

๐Ÿ“ฃ As previously mentioned, its holiday time and I'm taking a quick trip to Naarm (Melbourne) to go see friends/family for the first time in over two wild years and wow I'm excited!

As ya'll know, I'm a solo business owner running Sour so this means the Lab door will be closed and there will be a longer turn around time for Develop and Scan services at the Lab. I'm quoting a 14 day turnaround time from Friday the 13th (spooky) until the 24th, but I'll be getting straight back to work and firing up the JOBO to get your photos back to you as soon as I'm back!

Rolls will still be collected daily from the dropbox by our lovely friends at Studio P ๐Ÿ™‚

Studio P is an fun and inclusive pottery community offering ceramics classes, stunning pots to buy and a shared creative space to get down and dirty with clay literally 24/7 ๐Ÿ™Œ

Work is a dream coming here everyday, combining film and clay ๐ŸŽž + ๐Ÿบ

I liken film shooting to hand making ceramics, to me itโ€™s that same slowed down creative process of making something from scratch in a world that moves so fast.

If thatโ€™s your vibe try it out! (And you can drop of your films at the same time ๐Ÿค )
