The beautiful moments of adding another baby to the family.

Tandem feeding.

A toddler finding their place beside their new baby.

And those tiny pockets of quiet amongst all the beautiful chaos.

The real, tender, wildly full days of life with two little ones. One day you’ll wish you could step right back into.

Hey, hi 🌻 its been a minute.

The last few weeks have been filled with newborn snuggles and making the most of the school holidays with my two big kids - the juggle is real, folks (heart so damn full, though)

Life has been beautifully chaotic, and social media has taken a back seat for a little while.

Before I stepped into maternity leave, I had the honour of documenting this beautiful in-home motherhood session. Looking back through these images now feels a little extra special. They hold everything I love about photographing families at home.

The intimate moments, the laughter, the cuddles, the way mothers connect with their children.

Becoming a mum again has only deepened my appreciation for these memories. They really do become more precious with time 😭✨️

Thank you for sticking around while I've been soaking in this season with my own family. I'm looking forward to slowly sharing some of the beautiful sessions I photographed before maternity leave, and soon, easing back into creating these memories for other families too.

For now, here's a little glimpse into this beautiful morning at home with these two 🌻🌻

Golden light through the kitchen window.

A baby in his sister's arms. Wet little toes under running water. A dog wandering in and out. A cat getting picked up for cuddles.

We chatted for most of the session. There were snack breaks, cuddles, toddler distractions and all the little things that come with having a newborn at home.

And honestly, that's what I love most about in home sessions.

Nothing needs to be perfect. Nobody needs to sit still! We just spend a couple of hours together while your ordinary life unfolds around us.

The photos are there, of course.
But it's the feeling of these days that I'm documenting for you to hold on to 🍂

A little reminder that while I'll soon be disappearing into the newborn bubble, my bookings for August onwards are open.

I know how easy it is to keep putting photos off until life feels less chaotic 🍃

But somehow that's always the season worth remembering and the one you'll remember back to.

The sticky hands.
The missing teeth (my personal fav).
The baby curls.
The way they are permanently on your hip.
The ordinary things.

I just really love photographing people in their real environments.

The homes they’ve outgrown and rearranged a thousand times. The chaos amongst the routines and the way kids naturally behave when they feel comfortable.

I want to tell your story through images.

After maternity leave I’ll mostly be focusing on a smaller number of weekday in-home sessions around the Blue Mountains but will take on a couple of sessions a month in the Sydney area.
