honestly? the best of both worlds.

i get asked all the time if i do both photo and film, and the short answer is hell yes!!!

i love catching the raw, messy stills just as much as i love stitching together a film where you can actually hear the cracks in your voice during vows and watch everyone lose their absolute minds on the dance floor!!

most of the time on the day, it looks just like this. just me, two cameras strapped on, zero awkward posing, keeping things completely chill so you don’t feel like you’ve got a massive production crew suffocating you while you’re trying to marry your best mate!!

Is there anything better than a slow dance in your socks on the kitchen floor?!

40 years married. Forty! Vicki and Dale are packing up and saying goodbye to the house they built a lifetime in, so before the boxes took over, I crashed their morning to freeze it all in place.
They pulled out an album full of absolute gold—their favourite snaps of each other from day one, wild stories, and proper belly laughs. So naturally, I made them put the book down, kick their shoes off, and slow dance right there by the kitchen bench. No awkward prompts, no stiff smiles, just forty years of love right where everyday life happens!!

(This was only part one of a massive extended family shoot that morning, so get ready, part two is coming).

Friendly kick up the arse: stop waiting for an anniversary or a “special occasion” to get photos done. The house will get packed, the kids will grow, and life will move fast. The little corners of your house where you actually live? That’s the stuff you’re going to wish you had on your walls. It’s all about the experience and celebrating your life right bloody now not waiting for perfect!!

This location 🤩🤩 how have I never been here??! Wow!!

When zo said it was a swamp I was abit sceptical but wow was I wrong!! This session was actually so much fun and I have sooo much to share - we all went back to the cars saying that we had laughed so much that our faces hurt and that’s literally the goal - I have wayyyy too much to say about this session

I don’t think this is a prompt I’m retiring anytime soon because it always brings out the bessttt giggles!! Andddd Ash thinks I’m funny, so that’s an absolute win 😂😂

In all seriousness, Liv & Tom’s session was so much fun. Non-stop laughs, little games even when sitting still, and just bloody good times. That’s truly what it’s all about—having fun, making memories, and getting some pretty fu***ng good photos while you’re at it!! ✨

I am honestly obsessed with in-home sessions, and this is the exact reason why.
In 50 years when you look back at your photos, your home will look completely different. You’ll have renovated, painted, or moved on entirely!!!

When I was younger, I remember sitting with my grandma flicking through her old photo albums, talking about the house she built a whole life in and how two of her kids weddings happen on her property with the home her husband built!
There was just so much life held in that place—way more than just four walls.
I literally grew up wanting a backyard wedding instead of some fancy venue because of that, just wanting somewhere that felt like home! The canvases on the walls it was the perfect dream!
That house has been sold now, and those photos have more value than ever! Us running around as kids, sitting in pot plants, stick fights - kids just being kids!!

That’s what I want to give you. Not faking it in spaces that don’t make sense for your life, but the real stuff—the drying bottles on the bench, the toy cars on the rug, and the exact couch you spent hours holding your tiny human on! The hard bits and the best bits you wouldn’t trade for the world! The silly goofy moments and the small little things - hell even those little tantrums because we are only human and that’s so beautiful!
That’s where the actual richness is. 🤍

I Had the absolute best afternoon documenting this sweet crew in their space!! And even in the stressful-ness of this little angel just not having it! You can feel the love & the connection

I was literally shivering behind the camera the entire time for this one. 🥶

Freezing wind, heavy grey clouds, and full-body goosebumps—yet somehow Clare stepped out and made it look effortless!! Total legend!! Even though she was soooo cold!

The weather had absolute trust issues during this shoot, though. We’d set up the perfect moody shot, and boom—the sun would blast through for two seconds, blinding everyone, then vanish just as quickly. But honestly? Rolling with the chaos gave us the best of both worlds: soft overcast tones, gorgeous dappled light, and some full-sun moments that I’m totally obsessed with.
You never have to worry about knowing what to do with your hands or stressing over the forecast—that’s 100% my job to figure out. You just rock up, bring the energy, and I’ll make you laugh until you forget how cold it is.

My calendar stays pretty packed, so I don’t always get to take on many Debs, but Clare’s crew booked well in advance and I’m so glad they did. Such an epic day!
If you have a Deb or Formal coming up, definitely get in early.

Winter mornings can be an absolute freeze fest out here, but gosh I’m obsessed because that fog & light are unmatched!

Liv & Tom were such a bloody hoot hey! We kicked off at The Hub with coffee (literally the best spot in town!! did a little run to 7/11 for fuel + road snacks, and just spent the whole morning out at Sunny Corner laughing our heads off.

Getting to document them around Liv’s car was so cool because it wasn’t about ticking some standard “photoshoot” box. We just hung out, let them be themselves, and made actual memories. That’s what it’s all about!!
I’m so ready for more sessions like this. If you and your person have a favourite date spot or just want an excuse to go on a fun little road trip, message me and let’s do it!
