Chasing the light in the Blue Mountains.

We hiked out to this spot just as the sun began to dip, waiting for that perfect, soft glow to hit the valley. Just as the sky turned those deep shades of blue and orange, he dropped to one knee.

Film vs. Digital: The eternal debate. 🎞️💻

I get asked often if it’s worth shooting on 35mm. The truth? It’s not really an upgrade—it’s just a different way of seeing. I wanted to share a side-by-side so you can see the difference for yourself.

35mm has that soft, nostalgic quality that’s hard to replicate. It’s definitely a learning curve—getting used to that 20–25 frame ‘hit rate’ per roll—but there’s something so special about the process. It feels more deliberate, more ‘alive.’

I’m obsessed with the vintage vibe, but I’d love to hear your take. Does the film aesthetic resonate with you, or are you a fan of digital crispness?

Last weekend I drove 2 hours to my bestie’s wedding. Got
dressed up and enjoyed being a guest - did some snaps for my prettiest bride!

It was an intimate celebration. Great food and wine. Wished I could have stayed longer for overnight.
