Console with music desk removed, exposing some of the Hauptwerk (upper manual) key action. The large (38-40mm) porcelain on ebony drawknobs are engraved in both German & English, though the translations are not as we might expect - for example, Hohlflöte > Hollenflute, Portunal > Claribelle et al.

The sketch of the key action is most likely from 1979, from a report made for the OHTA by John Stiller.

It has begun! The ailing 1872 Randebrock is getting some much-needed quality attention. Whilst funds are limited, Daniel Bittner & his team at APO will get this unique instrument breathing properly, with some essential corrections & upgrades performed too. Oscar doing his thing in the organ loft. These older spaces are usually very cramped, poorly lit & extremely dusty - that's organ builder life. Here though, the loft is actually quite spacious, with reasonable room to work & also for potential expansion.

Swell Double Trumpet 16' extension installed; it is enclosed from about half way up, the resonators speaking into the new opening at the rear of the box. A neat solution, particularly for ease of tuning.

Double Trumpet 16' bottom C block - this assembly is how reed pipes make their sound, & it will sit inside the wooden boots (see earlier photo) with only the top of the tuning wire (left) exposed.
