HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO ME! 🎉 👩🏼‍🔧👷🏼‍♀️🔧

One year down in my heavy diesel fitter apprenticeship and absolutely loving it!

As I am studying and working full time I have limited time to post, as you may have seen! I am still doing photo sessions and loving all the clients I have met this past year in Mackay and have been lucky enough to photograph!

Here is to another year left of study!

👋 It seems four months have past since my 30th birthday post?! I have posted some of my highlights so far since then and I would LOVE to hear yours or your small wins in the comments!

In the past several months I have;
-captured couples in two different states ✈️
-learnt how to service a mining haul truck 🚚🚜 (no CAT emoji?!)
-helped plan and photograph my first surprise proposal 💍
-bought a home with hubby and started minor renovations 🏡
-invested in another beautiful Canon camera body and lens 📷
-slowly working on my social media game to showcase to you these stunning couples👌🏼

I am available to book in two more sessions in April, reach out and let's get this ball rolling!

All my Pinterest dreams came true whilst celebrating my 30th birthday early 😊

I have been MIA after planning this wonderful party that I shared with my friends. Rain, wind and a relocation for the day couldn't dampen the afternoon!

I absolutely love planning/organising all things events, and this was so much fun to put together for the ole thirtieth and utilise some great small businesses around Mackay (I have tagged everyone in the photos!)

💥 If anyone is looking for something special for their next event, order some mango macarons from you can thank me later 😏😏 (just ordered another dozen 😅)

Chris & Lilly were gifted a photo session by their friends as an engagement present (we also got to capture their little bundle of joy too!).

With Christmas just around the corner, I will be offering gift vouchers which can be placed under the tree for that someone special (I offer gift certificates all year, Christmas vouchers are printed and presented in a beautiful box ready to be wrapped!).

A thoughtful gift, provides life long memories - sounds like a solid gift idea to me 😉

My weekend has been spent exploring Mackay and showing my mate around our beautiful town!

All emails, invoices & contract's will be sent out by tomorrow evening (our 4:25am wake up call to see the roos this morning is hitting me!)

What is LOCATION SCOUTING?

You may have seen it in my stories and my reels recently, and it is something I aim to do before every session!

Scoping out a spot prior to your session let's me find out when, where and what the lighting is going to be like to ensure your images come out just as you envision them. And also finding hidden gems that might be passed over by others!

I had the help of Ryan and Jess suss out what the lighting conditions were going to be like roughly for the following day for their friends wedding (see last reel 😉).

Location scouting gives me an indication of what can be expected for timings and where I can place clients for the best outcome!
