“As women, I can’t help but feel society really knows how to squash a woman’s outlook on herself.
The expectation to look a certain way, to feel a certain way about yourself, is huge and distorted. This worries me more now then ever since having my bubba girl 18 months ago . I don’t want her to feel the pressures to look like societies version or ‘perfect’ or current trend.

The more of us that share our raw selves, the more we hopefully make other women feel good about themselves too.

In today’s world, we are all way to familiar with comparing ourselves to highly edited, filtered and posed images of Instagram models or celebrities. “

Taiya, has a smile that could light up the universe and it was captured on her recent shoot.

"For years I have been ashamed and not happy with what I look like.

At 23 years- old and a single mum to a 4 and half year old, I have gained body confidence and can now take photos in confidence. I am actually happy with myself. I don't want my son to grow up with self esteem issues, I want him to grow up watching and learning self confidence from his Mumma and the people around us.

Every single person is beautiful in their own way. That's what makes us unique, different and one of a kind."

This photo of Amanda is so whimsical, the past week the weather has been a bit wild but this shoot was magic.

"The reason I chose to was not only celebrate the new me who is 34kgs lighter but to celebrate the fact I still have my own flaws about my self both physical and mental.

I did it for me and even the me who was gonna chuck it in at the last minute; the me who still struggles daily with self worth for many physical and mental reasons.
I went bare to bare the fact that its ok to be bold and beautiful and open even when your not okay.

Fiona rocked her shoot at 5am to capture the beautiful sunrise and her brilliant smile.

"My kids are getting to an age where body image Is now on their radar. I am always conscious about them having a positive self image. After a lifetime of telling myself, I’m not tall/thin/tanned/toned enough, it dawned on me I need to lead by example and start telling myself I am enough and appreciate the amazing things about my body and the things it’s done." - Fiona

"The reason I chose to go bare was to be vulnerable and brave.

To do the uncomfortable thing because most others won’t.

Most get this kind of shot after an 8 week challenge or a bikini competition.

But I am just over here unapologetically celebrating my body for absolutely no reason other than the fact that this is me.

I’m not a size 6, this is not a before shot and no, I’m not trying to loose weight.

For me, to be bare is to let go of negative thoughts of my own body.

To be bare is to set myself free and give zero f***s what anyone thinks. Period.

To be bare is to accept my path, my journey and
who I am.

I have 3 beautiful babies and I don’t need excuses for my scars, stretch marks, spider veins or lumps and bumps.

To empower women to be open, brave and authentic.

To love themselves with the light on and feel sexy bare in front of a mirror.

To celebrate our differences instead of comparing and beating each other down. " - Tianna
